Review Process & Ethical Standards
Technical Committee Screening
Each submission is screened for relevance to the conference scope, compliance with submission guidelines, adherence to anonymity requirements, and suitability for review.
Double-Blind Peer Review
The Scientific Review Committee assesses originality, contribution to literature and theory, methodological rigor, practical application, and relevance. Outcomes: accepted, accepted subject to revision, or rejected. Around 40–50% of papers are expected to be accepted.
Ethical Review
Authors must confirm originality, proper attribution, institutional ethical compliance, required approvals for human-participant research, and disclosure of conflicts of interest. Flagged submissions are referred to a three-member Ethical Review Committee.
Post-Conference Editorial Review
Acceptance for presentation does not guarantee inclusion in the Atlantis Press proceedings. Selected high-quality papers undergo editorial review by the Editor-in-Chief and Co-Editors for the proceedings volume.
